Our First House

A couple of weeks ago we went out to Kriksville, Missouri to look for a place to live. After spending many hours looking at rentals, we decided on an old fashion home. Currently it has one bedroom, but the owner is building a second one on the main floor, and then there are two sleeping areas upstairs. It also has a full unfinished basement with 2 1/2 bathrooms. We met with the owner to see the house and he told us to have an imagination because he is currently renovating. The home will have hardwood floors on the main level and upstairs, and he is also repainting the house, gutting the kitchen, adding all new appliances, and remodeling the basement bathroom. He recently put on a new roof and updated the electrical, heating, and windows. The house also has a garage off to the side. I loved the house and knew that Matthew would have so much fun here. The house has a lot of potential and so we are hoping that it will be as good that the owner said. Fortunately we were able to see another house that he has gutted and remodeled and it looked very nice and clean.
